Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

TITU Journal of Integrative Medicine -TJIM is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and safeguarding the integrity of the academic record.

The journal follows the guidelines and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies these principles to all aspects of the editorial and publication process.

Duties of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

  • Ensuring a fair, unbiased, and timely peer review process
  • Evaluating manuscripts based solely on scientific merit, originality, and relevance

  • Preventing conflicts of interest in the editorial process
  • Taking appropriate action in response to ethical concerns or misconduct

Duties of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of the manuscript
  • Declare any conflicts of interest before accepting review assignments
  • Refrain from using unpublished information for personal advantage

Duties of Authors

Authors must:

  • Submit original, unpublished work that is not under consideration elsewhere
  • Ensure proper citation of all sources and avoid plagiarism
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest
  • Accurately present data and results without fabrication or manipulation
  • Cooperate with the peer review process and respond to reviewer comments

Plagiarism and Originality

TITU Journal of Integrative Medicine -TJIM enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism.

All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Submissions containing plagiarism, duplication, or unethical practices will be rejected or retracted.

Conflict of Interest

All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that may influence their decisions or interpretations.

Handling Misconduct

The journal takes all allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously.
