Ethical Considerations
TITU Journal of Integrative Medicine -TJIM is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity. The journal follows internationally recognized ethical guidelines, including those established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
All authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to the ethical principles outlined below.
Human and Animal Rights
Research involving human participants must comply with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki and must be approved by an appropriate ethics committee or institutional review board (IRB).
Authors must include a statement confirming ethical approval and informed consent in the manuscript.
For studies involving animals, authors must confirm that all procedures were conducted in accordance with relevant institutional and national guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals.
Informed Consent
Authors must ensure that all participants (or their legal guardians) have provided informed consent.
For case reports, clinical images, or identifiable data, written consent for publication must be obtained and clearly stated.
Confidentiality and Privacy
Authors must protect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants. Identifying information must not be disclosed unless explicit written consent has been obtained.

Data Integrity and Transparency
Authors must present data accurately and transparently. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data is strictly prohibited.
Authors may be required to provide raw data or supporting materials upon request.

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplication, or unethical content will be rejected.
Authorship and Contributions
All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research and manuscript preparation.
Any changes in authorship after submission must be justified and approved by all authors and the editorial office.
Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of their work.
Misconduct and Corrections
In cases of suspected ethical misconduct (including plagiarism, data falsification, or duplicate publication), the journal will follow COPE guidelines for investigation.
